Introduction

This course is an integrative project where students are exposed to a challenging problem. The students will model the problem, propose possible solutions then build a solution. Students will work on aspects of this course individually and other parts will be team project based.

Outline

Solve Problems: Labs (Basic/Beginner-Level) +Projects (Intermediate-Level) + *Challenges (Advanced-Level, not required, but bonus points):

6 Labs (Individual work. AI tools are not allowed)

4 Projects (Team work. AI tools are allowed, but need to explain where/what/why/how they are used)

4 Challenges (Optional, individual/team work. AI tools are allowed, but need to explain where/what/why/how they are used)

Points

The possibility of earning up to: 125 points.

Labs (15 points total): 2.5 points per lab, totaling 15 points.

Projects (40 points total): 10 points per project, for a total of 4 projects. Of the 10 points for each project, 4 points are allocated for weekly reports.

Final Project (15 points total).

Attendance (10 points total).

Team Points (30 points total).

Others (0–15 points): Challenge 1 - 2 points; Challenge 2 - 3 points; Challenge 3 - 5 points; Challenge 4 - 5 points.
